A Sewing Kit

Have you ever seen someone sew before?

Even though it seems intimidating sometimes, It is really easy after practicing.

When I had first gotten my Sewing Kit, I was excited because I had never sewn before. This kit was going to make a decorative and useful felt purse. The sewing kit contains many exciting pieces.

There were three steps in total, but each step was cut into a lot of tiny steps.

The first one was to pin and sew all the pieces together. Since I was blank  on how to do this, I turned to the instructions. They weren't much help; it said the same thing. So, I asked my mom and she helped me through the other steps too.Those were putting on the straps and making embellishments. When I was done, It looked magnificent!

We made some mistakes and fixed then along the way, but we also had tho fix their mistakes too. The kit's handbag strap design was very uncomfortable and hard to get the the things inside, so we changed it to look similar to my mom's purse ; a long strap attached to the sides of the purse. After this change, it was much easier to carry around and to get to my stuff.

Sewing was really fun, and I hope that I will get to do it again!
