The Legend of the Chatter Teeth --- Chapter 2

   "Ugh. Everyone always thinks that I'm the bad guy, but they're all too lazy to come visit." The Chatter Teeth moaned. " Just because I might have accidentally eaten that tree, and that computer, and that juice box and that um mm........but it doesn't mean that I'm the bad guy! I wish I could just walk up there and tell them the whole story!" He stomped around the Chattering Forest where he came across a long, winding dirt path. A crooked, rotting wood sign pointed North on the trail. "To the Royal Palace" it said in faded letters. "Finally, I can show my sweet monster-self to the world!"

     Meanwhile, in the Tooth Palace, Margaret was sitting silently in her closet, making a detective's web of all the recent Chatter Teeth sightings. She was determined to find the location of the legend, and track it to make further discoveries. As she tacked up the last few pictures and notes on her web, her mom called out to her. " Margaret, dear, are you doing your silly detective stuff again?" "No, and even if I was, which I am totally not, it is not silly! It is extremely important!" Margaret exclaimed.

      As she stomped angrily downstairs, a messenger pigeon flew up to her face. "Aah!" she shouted. While the bird,(and Margaret) settled down, she noticed a note tied to the pigeon's feet. As she scanned the pink and purple note, (obviously) it was from her mom. Apparently, the Tooth Fairy left to make another braggy speech about herself. She said Margaret was allowed to bring her friends over to the palace to hang out. Margaret did exactly that, but for a completely different reason.

     "Hi guys!" Margaret beamed. She planned to finish her detective string web, but with the help of her friends instead. They started to talk about all the fun they were going to have, when suddenly, there were booming pounds at the front door. Scared, Margaret dashed to her phone and looked at the security cameras. Shivering, with her friends huddled around her, they stared at the small screen. There, standing live and in person, was the Chatter Teeth.
