Playing in the Snow

When I woke up yesterday, I peeked out of the window, there was a winter wonderland! I realized that the earth was covered in a huge blanket of snow! I couldn't wait to go outside and play.
I quickly put on my clothes and asked my mom if I could go outside and go tobogganing. My mom said YES, but I had to take my brother with me. It took 1000 hours until he woke up and got dressed.
When he was eating breakfast my mom started to make my sled. It was basically a box covered with a trash bag so that it could slide.
Finally, we were ready! I was bundled up in a bunch of hats, jackets, pants, gloves and boots so I knew that I would not be cold outside.
When we were outside, I was so excited that I wanted to slide on our driveway and on the sidewalk, but there weren't enough force to pull or push me across it. So I just had to hold onto the sled until we reached the small hill.
Once we were there, I sat in my box and screamed all the way down the hill. I tried over and over again until the box ripped. So we just had to go home.
When I got home I picked up a shover and asked my mom if I could play for a bit more. She agreed!
I played until I almost go frostbite. But lucky for me, my mom called me in at that time. She gave me a streaming hot cup of cocoa, Mmm Mmm....
