Trip to Rainbow Lane

There once was a leprechaun who was a very good leprechaun. He had a gold license that allowed him to get one pot of gold once per month. But there was one condition: he had to get to Rainbow Lane before 6 pm to pick up his pot of gold, otherwise there would be no gold until the next month.

   Early in the morning he set off towards Rainbow Lane.  He suddenly came across an old man that looked like he was in pain! The old man had a broken bone! The leprechaun thought,"I am the Mr.Leprechaun! I don't care if I don't get a pot of gold for a whole month! I still have to help this old man!"

   Mr. Leprechaun brought the old man to the doctor, then he left. He continued on his path to the Rainbow Lane. He said to himself,"I think I still have some time left to get to Rainbow Lane before 6 pm." Suddenly, he heard a voice of a little girl crying. Mr. Leprechaun followed the voice and found a little girl crying on the ground. 

   He knelt down beside her and asked, "What's the problem?" 

   "I can't find my mommy!" She cried.

   "Don't worry, I will find your mom." Said Mr. Leprechaun. He brought the girl to the nearest police station, to their surprise, her mother was there already. 

   Mr. Leprechaun ran out of the police station thinking, "Now I am really late. I wish I could run there in time."

   He saw something fall from a tall tree. He looked down on the ground and saw a baby bird. Its wings were flapping feebly. Mr. Leprechaun gently picked up the bird, climbed up the tall tree to return the baby bird to its nest. 

   Now he was really running out of time. Mr. Leprechaun tried to run as fast as he could to Rainbow Lane. All of a sudden, there was a loud ding-dong-ding-dong bell sound. 

   "Oh, no! I am late! It's 6 o'clock already!" Mr. Leprechaun was disappointed. He was so close to getting his pot of gold, the Rainbow Lane was just in front of him. He could see the rainbow and two pots of gold. 

   Wait, gold?

   "Why would there be gold?" He tried to find out.  He started to walk towards the pots of gold. He saw one name tag on each of the pots, it read, "Mr. Leprechaun". There was a note too, it said, "Mr. Leprechaun, these pots of gold were given to you because of your kind heart to people and animals." 

Mr. Leprechaun was very happy with his trip to Rainbow Lane that day.
