Get Over the Frustration While Practicing Piano

Do you think playing piano is hard sometimes? Well, so do I! I have some effective ways how you can get over the frustration and continue to have a good day!

If I ever get frustrated, my mom comes and gives me a tiny snack. After the break, I feel good and ready to continue to practice my new song. The little treats give me a powerful boost to get back on track to my song.

Yesterday, I was angry at myself for not getting the notes right. My mom gave me a cup of tea and a cup of yogurt drink. She called the yogurt drink "up" to give me energy and the cup of tea "down"to calm me down. She gave me the drink and said," Here is your up!" Then she gave me the tea and said,"Here is your down." I shouted, "Do you want me to go up or down!" We all burst into laughter. That is another way you can ease off your frustration.

Sometimes I like to play another song if I get tired of the other. I always make sure that the song I choose is a song that everyone in my family likes. After I finish playing it, the music makes me feel happy and ready for the new song.

Being frustrated can be hard sometimes, but as you can see there is many ways you can get over the
frustration and continue to have fun! Also, I have realized that the frustration may have payed off. Once you finish a song, It might have been a very good song and very pleasing to hear. Remember, practice makes perfect!
