Blue Bonnet Trail

Yesterday, I went to look at blue bonnets. We drove to an info center and got directions to the blue bonnet trails. We also got a map.

We drove about 10 minutes through the thick dark trees, finally there was a white gate. We drove through it and parked by the colorful flowers on a brown dirt road. This is the Blue House, where we can really see flowers close-by and took pictures.

My friend who came along with me took pictures with me in the flowers. There were blue bonnets which kind of looked like purple in color. I also saw pink flowers that had a touch of white while I was also standing in the middle of a bunch of reddish-orange flowers. I loved to sit in flowers to take pictures and running among the flowers. Of course, I tried my best not to step on any of them.

After a while, we went back onto the blue bonnet trail. A few minutes later, we saw a tall sharp hill on the road. It felt like a roller coaster ride when we drove passing it.

There was suddenly a lot of cars parked on the side of the road. I looked out of the window, I saw a big hill covered with a blanket of flowers - blue bonnets. There were people making poses and taking pictures. We had to move on though.

A moment later, I saw a really exciting thing outside. A bunch of people were feeding horses that were inside the fence. There were feeding the horses some special food from a big bag that was placed by the road. This time, my dad parked the car, I ran out of to feed the horses. One time, I had my whole hand in the horse's mouth and another time I felt a couple of teeth and even a tongue!
Yesterday was really an exciting and fun day!
